This is why we are using an asset-based community development (ABCD) approach to strengthen community resilience by providing accredited CPD opportunities to all our staff and volunteers. We are proud to be working alongside Barnardo’s and Sandwell Children Trust in delivery of the following courses in our mother tongue.

L1 Safeguarding Training: Essential Training for All Staff and Volunteers
Are you confident in your role as a Designated Safeguarding Lead? Do you know the latest legal requirements for out-of-school settings and how to handle serious safeguarding incidents?
Our Level 2 Safeguarding Training is designed specifically for DSLs in Polish supplementary schools, addressing the unique challenges you face in these environments. The course provides a comprehensive overview of legal requirements, statutory guidance, and best practices for protecting children and young people.
Key objectives of the training include:
Understanding safeguarding risks specific to supplementary school settings, including faith-based and community contexts
Recognising signs and indicators of abuse and neglect, including how to respond to disclosures and concerns
Implementing safe recruitment practices for staff and volunteers, including DBS checks and managing allegations
Developing and applying safeguarding policies and procedures tailored to supplementary schools
Coordinating safeguarding efforts, conducting risk assessments, and effective liaison with external agencies
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and anti-discriminatory school culture
Case studies and scenario-based discussions to address real-world safeguarding dilemmas and solutions
The course is delivered in Polish, by an experienced professional and includes interactive elements, group discussions, and practical exercises. On completion, participants receive a CPD accredited certificate and supporting resources. This training ensures DSLs are equipped to lead safeguarding practice confidently and in line with current legislation and guidance.

L2 Safeguarding Training: Designated Safeguard Lead Training
This training is suitable for all staff and volunteers working with children in supplementary schools, regardless of previous safeguarding experience. The interactive course includes real-world scenarios and is delivered in Polish, specifically designed for Polish Supplementary Schools in the UK.
